Cwm Arian’s travelling community apple juicing service in
Pembrokeshire over the Autumn
Our apple press is heading out to village halls and community spaces across Pembrokeshire this September and October. Bring along apples from your garden or orchard and take the juice home to enjoy.
No booking is required for the community juicing days. The session at Y Stiwdio is for large quantities of apples only and must be booked in advance.

Caffi Nyth y Fran / Crow’s Nest Cafe will serve light refreshments, including apple cake. Proceeds from the café will help towards the upkeep of the village hall.

Bring your apples and bottles along for a day of community apple pressing.

This session is for large quantities of apples only. All juicing slots must be booked in advance.

Round off the season at our free Autumn Open Day. Bring your apples for pressing, explore CoedUNO in its autumn colours and learn about orchard health, maintenance, varieties and pruning with orchardist Martin Hayes.
HOW IT WORKS
NO NEED TO BOOK, JUST SHOW UP!
GATHER APPLES:

Gather up your apples from your garden, allotment or community project.

Take out any apples that are badly bruised or rotting, as we can’t juice those. You can bring as few or as many apples as you like.
GRAB SOME BOTTLES:

Collect some bottles to take your juice home in. To estimate how many bottles you need, weigh or count the apples. 1kg of apples - about 10 apples - will give you about 0.5 litres of juice.
COME ALONG:

Come along and join in. We’ll wash, scrat and press your apples and hand you your juice. It costs just 60p per litre.

You can also take the left over “pulp” home too. It’s great on the compost or to feed to animals.
ENJOY:

Then what? Cider, vinegar, pasteurised, or good old plain juice. We’ll have guides on what to do with your juice to take home too.
