Three week basketry class -
£80 for the three week course,
Whether you are new to the craft or are after a progressive course, a 3-week session is a great way to develop your weaving skills. Over 3 weeks, you will be able to make one basket. For beginners, this is usually an asymmetric or a storage basket; for improvers, you can contact me to discuss what you would like to make. There is a charge for materials per item made, usually from £6-12 depending on the size of the basket.

Puppertry Performance ~ A LA CARTE
José Navarro, an internationally renowned artist in the world of puppetry, will be bringing his show 'A La Carte' to Y Stiwdio on Friday, 13th June. No need to book, £10 on the door.
A puppet variety extravaganza celebrating traditions and international performance culture. It features singers, dancers, musicians, circus acts, and animal pets, using a wide range of puppet techniques. It is enchanting for both children and adults.

Creative Papermaking
Join Sarah Holloway to explore textural possibilities and have fun experimenting with making your very own pieces of recycled handmade paper. You will learn how to use a Deckle and Mould and to transform old paper into new, using the pouring method.

Saturday 14th June 10:00 - 16:00pm
Metalwork: Make A Trowel
Join Jo Adkins to learn how to make a garden trowel ready for Summer. You will learn some basic metal drilling, shaping and riveting skills.
You will be able to take your finished trowel home with you at the end of the session.
£25 per person

In this informative and fun workshop Bronwen will share her passion for the environment and in particular for reusing waste plastic: turning the ugly and unloved into bold and exciting jewellery and sculptures
