We’ve worked on loads of different projects over the years - some short and sweet, others running for years. No matter what, we always focus on what’s best for the community, keeping our three pillars in mind: land, energy, and community.
Have a look below at some of the things we’ve been up to in the past -
GROWING BETTER CONNECTIONS
Feel Good, Feel fit, Feel useful, Feel connected!
GBC was all about regenerating our landscape together with practical solutions that value heritage and recognise what we need now and tomorrow. Working with nature to protect and enhance habitats; working with land managers to support their farms and enterprises.
A Project running from March 2020-March 2023 in North-East Pembrokeshire from the uplands to the sea, offering opportunities for people and nature to thrive.
When GBC came to an end, two projects were born out of it. The CLEAN Rivers project (which then transformed into Nyyfer Am Byth) and Feeding Our Community.
FRUIT & BOUNTY PROJECT
From 2022 to 2023, Fruit & Bounty was a year-long project celebrating and strengthening orchard culture and enterprise in Pembrokeshire. It supported small fruit-based businesses, helping them connect with local suppliers and markets, access training, and build confidence and skills.
A key legacy of the project is Ein Coed, a fruit tree propagation and sharing network that continues to grow. We also set up an ongoing scion-sharing network on Facebook, making it easier for people to exchange and grow heritage fruit and nut trees.
Through training events and community collaborations, Fruit & Bounty helped people develop orchard, fruit-growing, and enterprise skills while celebrating all things fruit. The project also ran our biggest-ever community apple juicing tour in 2022, pressing 6.5 tons of apples across 16 communities. The apple juicing service continued in 2023, keeping the tradition alive.
This project received funding through the Welsh Government Rural Communities -
Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural
Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government.

HEATH & HEDGEROW
Heath & Hedgerow Sir Benfro was a project (May 2022 – June 2023) that explored the ecological and economic value of Pembrokeshire’s heathlands and hedgerows. It supported landowners in managing organic materials like hedgerow cuttings, bracken, and gorse—often seen as waste—by turning them into valuable resources. The project aimed to reduce farming costs, improve soil fertility, and support biodiversity while tackling climate change. Through piloting innovative biomass uses, offering training, and creating networking opportunities, Heath & Hedgerow helped farmers and land managers make the most of natural materials.

FFYDD YN Y PRIDD
Ffydd yn y Pridd was a social enterprise dedicated to soil health. It worked with biochar, rock dust, compost, and field-scale microbial amendments to create high-quality soil care products from locally sourced materials. The project aimed to support farmers, smallholders, and gardeners by providing education, research, and practical solutions for improving natural soil health.

This film captures our work with Pantirion Farm, a 400-acre coastal farm in St Dogmaels, West Wales. Farmer Lyn Evans, who has worked the land for over 50 years, traditionally used chemical fertilisers but has recently turned to natural alternatives due to rising costs. The film explores the use of biofertilisers—living micro-organisms that support plant growth and soil health—offering a potential replacement for conventional fertilisers.
