Emma started working with CARE in the summer of 2022. Emma oversaw the completion of Y Stiwdio, and now manages the space. Y Stiwdio is a natural build community space for various workshops.
Emma trained as a secondary school Art Teacher and holds a Master's Degree in Arts and Learning. Emma has over 15 years teaching experience and is a practicing artist working in multiple disciplines including pottery, printmaking and drawing. After moving to Wales in 2018 she made the move to gallery based education, originally working at Oriel Myrddin Gallery in Carmarthen. Emma now lives on a smallholding in the village of Hermon and enjoys growing fruit, vegetables and flowers, as well as enjoying walking her dogs in the beautiful countryside.
